INVITATION to TONY WALSH EVENT, co-founder of Benedict Labre House Benedict Labre House invites you to celebrate the Life and Work of Tony Walsh, the well-known co-founder of Labre House. The Nov. 2 event will mark the 25 th anniversary of his death and will explore the Catholic values and vision that have guided the work of the house and remain evident to this day.  It will be held at their present location:  St. Zotique church,
4561 Notre-Dame St. West, Montreal, H4C 1S3, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., beginning with mass celebrated by Bishop Thomas Dowd, VG. A complimentary light lunch will be provided, followed by a panel discussion on Benedict Labre House, Past, Present and Future. There will be small group discussions and testimonials for those who wish to participate. COME JOIN US! Notre-Dame-de-Grace’s Flea Market Volunteer Team urgently needs more helping hands. If you have a few hours on Friday or another weekday when we work while closed to the public, we would love to have you join us. The flea market is open on Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.to sell donated clothing and household and decorative items.
Volunteers work at the cash and/or sort through and place donated items. We are proud to support our community and to help maintain our church. For further information, please contact Renée Quenneville at 514-484-7042.

Celebrating Marguerite Bourgeoys.
In anticipation of the 400th anniversary of the birth of Marguerite, the Sisters of the Congregation of Notre Dame and Associates invite you to a presentation by Sr.Kathleen Deignan, CND. She is professor of Religious and Environmental Studies at the Iona Institute, New York. She is an author, composer and singer. The topic is Daring to Dream a New World Into Being. Date: Sunday, November 3, 2019 at
1:30pm. Place:  CND Mother House - 2330 Sherbrooke St. West (corner of Atwater) Parking is available at the rear of the building.
