Gratitude to the Choir!

The Choir of St. Augustine of Canterbury is one of the living Guardian Angels of our parish. They are the Cherubim and Seraphim for our Parish liturgy:

“Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. 3  And they werecalling to one another:

“Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty;  the whole earth is full of his glory.”

See Isaiah 6:2–6, 14:29, 30:6; Ezekiel 1:4-28, 10:3-22; Revelation 4:7

The Choir is the silver lining of our worship. They inspire our voices rising to God with lyrics, melodies and rhythms.

During this crisis of worldwide virus pandemic we more than miss the tremendous inspiration and dedication of our Choir.

Suggested Prayer:

Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy,

hail, our life, our sweetness, and our hope.

To you do we cry, we the children of Eve;

to you do we send up our sighs,

mourning and weeping in this land of tears.

Turn, then, most gracious advocate,

your eyes of mercy toward us;

and show us the blessed fruit of your womb, Jesus:

O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary! Amen.

Stay safe, be healthy and let us come back together stronger after this pandemic crisis!
